Why are they ruthlessly killing people indifferently?

You have used two adverbs unnecessarily.It seems awkward.It should be,"Why are they killing people ruthlessly?"


I was astonished to hear the AG’s reply when the court asked him to inform
as to how the provincial government has planned curbing violence in the city.

It should be had as it is indirect speech and sentence is in past tense.
I think to should be omitted.

The need of the hour is to carry out a collective effort on the part..........

is should be added.
