This is with reference to a Geo News telecasted on last Thursday night about a minor boy of a remote area of Punjab who was allegedly tortured bitterly with sticks and pipes by a brutal landlord on false charges of stealing some commodity. The apex court released him on grounds of no-proofs and ‘high’influence.In another news, a cruel landlord left dogs on his poor servant. These types of videos are just two trailers of its kind which luckily or mishaply managed to approach media watch, otherwise hundreds of such incidents occur almost daily and pass unnoticed and unregistered. The culprit shamelessly denied the charges leveled against him, despite the clear video snaps shown on the TV.

This state of affairs vividly and clearly depicts the grim and traumatic roots of
Feudalism and ‘Chaudryism’ prevailing in the country, especially in Central Punjab, Sindh and Balochistan.I do not understand which side are we going to? The atrocities of these feudal lords and worldly gods are now unveiled. They consider the poor villagers as their slaves even in this modern 21st century. Crystal clear is now the fact that the downtrodden and disdain country’s situation is all due to such mindset and their godfathers.They,in one form or other form, do not want enlightment,tranquility,vision and development in the country by adopting measures of stone age. They portray barbarism of the ignorance period for their self vested interests.Religios lunatics, feudal ‘Chaudris’,’brutal Wadhairas’ and ritual ‘Khans’ have joined hand to keep abreast the staus-quo by keeping the people in darkness and slumber. Their nexus will have to be untied otherwise the consequences will be terrorizing.
