It is common in every society.You can not blame muslims alone for such acts.It is done in India at much higher rates than nay other muslim country.Islam does not allow to kill a woman if she has committed adultery.Islam has ordered husband to separate his bed from his wife in case he finds such an act.

Islam has given the right to see eachother before nikah.And Islam does not say to marry a minor boy or girl.It is common practice in other societies too.And Islam has given a little decision power to husband in domestic matters, which is so much beneficial that even the Western authors have appreciated it.For reference see Mrs Hudson Shaw,s
