Your notes should be just fine if prepared in line with the one you shared. Actually, I am working on my thesis and might not be able to promptly look into it. Nonetheless, I would try my best to give'em a look. And as I am a linguist and, therefore, don't have much hands on experience dealing with Literature. But keeping in view the Reader Response Theory every interpretation of a literary work is possible and equally acceptable.
