For starting new thread ,browse How to start a New Thread? and follow the procedure.

Secondly, you can't change your username by yourself. According to forum rules and policies Username cannot be changed. However, for modification you can post request here.

13.Change of Username: If anyone wants to modify their username, ie: spelling, post to the Admin in "Site Feedback" for a requested modification. Members cannot request for change of usernames under any condition.
