PMS was entirely a different thing. Have you seen public add score of PMS ? Huge majority crossing 130 or 140. And Eng Lit like Pub Add and Punjabi has been among high scoring there one my friend has 142 in Eng lit in PMS. But the very same person had 109 in CSS 2011 and 101 in CSS 2012. It is not discouraging the aspirants. Rather showing them the reality of the CSS exam that for securing better position , subject selection does matter. If majority of the aspirant having masters in literature , do not opt it , there definitely is something wrong with it. And the experience of many competent friends proves this notion.
