There are separate seats for general and science category. Those who have passed on general quota will not be considered on science quota even though one has got more score. Those will be appointed which are residents of hte UCs in which vacancy exists.
Dear if it is minor mistake then its not a very big issue because NTS result also contains CNIC number and father name of the candidate. But its better to contact NTS officials again and notify the correction you want in the name alongwith proof.

saien me ye kehna chata hn k hum uc me 10 pass howe hain, js me science ka srif aik hai aur general k 9 pass howe hain aur pori uc me 14 seats hain..... tu hum ko uc me sb ko adjust kren ge ya wo taluka ko dn ge seats? 30 70 ratio hai seats ka science k 70 aur general k 30.....
