Democracy in Pakistan is in its extreme fake form. it can not be called democracy. It is the worst form of aristocracy. in Pakistan, few families, landlords, jagirdars, and rich people have taken control of the country and have captured the whole political and democratic process. They are not the true representatives of the people. they have served their own interests so for. they had no concern with the welfare of the people and state. So for twenty four in no proposed amendments has been made to the Constitution. Among these amendments, not a single one is relevant to the welfare of the people or society. These all have been made to protect their own interest. there is no rule of law. people are not a part of the democratic process. they are weak and have no say in the affairs of state. there is no law and order. weak foreign policy and international role have malign the image of the country. terrorism, target killing, robbery,and corruption are touching the heights and have jeopardized the existence of the state. the above mentioned elements are the indicators of true democracy. if these indicators exist somewhere, then there is true democracy otherwise other form of democracy is prevailing there.
However, one should not desperate with present scenario, inSHALLLAH time will come,the people will take interests in the politics and will come to know about their rights and duties, then they will become enough powerful that they will become the decision maker of their fate. but it will take some time, about ten more years means election of 2023.INSHALLAH
