if one joins csa through proper channel then there is no question of resignation. one is considered to be inservice. once you sign the joining letter or charge assumption report, one has to submit last pay certificate counter signed by the concerned AG office, appointment letter of the previous service and service statement to the accounts branch of CSA. Don't worry if you haven't submitted the DPC, you can regularize your service by submitting relevant record to the accounts branch.
