Well I still reiterate that one need to select subject in accordance with one's aptitude , interest and academic background. However , at the same time high scoring and low scoring subjects is also a reality and taken the place of a basic factor in the selection of combination.
The following subjects owing to their ease , generality of the subject matter and scoring trend are among the first choice of the aspirants now a days.
Arabic
Persian
Regional Languages ( Punjabi , Sindhi , Balochi , Pashto)
Islamic Hostiry
Journalism
Sociology
Psychology
Geography
British History
Public Administration
International Law
I. R
Indo Pak History ( Once used to be the first choice of the aspirants. But now it's low scoring trend has made people sceptic of it )
I have seen lot of aspirant opting from these subjects and almost all of them can be prepared without any external assistance or tuition. The science like geography and psychology have been seen getting prepared without any background and without joining any teacher or academy. However , I strongly feel one's aptitude matters the most and then is one's interest. As you know we have to spend a good amount of time with these subjects. So if there would not be interest In a subject, one would neither be able to concentrate nor would be able to spend good time with that . And then if there would be no aptitude for a particular subject , the hard work even , would not produce the desired results. Therefore I feel , whatsoever easy a subject may be , without one's interest and aptitude fails to give high score.
