SYNOPSIS:
1. Terrorism is an illegitimate use of force by those who oppose existing social, political and economic arrangements.
2. History of terrorism is as old as the human civilization. But the seeds of this monster were sown in Pakistan after the invasion of Afghanistan by the world giant Sovied Union (Russia).
3. Some piercing factors to lead this catastrophe in Pakistan are political instability, military rules and weak and poor writ of government.
4. In the same way, the culture of sectarianism, the existence of multi ethnic groups and vulnerable and poor situation of governance by the civil and military governments are not less important factors.
5. Similarly, wrong interpretation of religious texts and prevailing wrong explanation about religion and religious ideas, economic disparity, poverty and injustice in Pakistani society are adding fuel to the fire for the promotion of terrorism.
6. The impacts of this curse on Pakistani society are multi phased and multi dimensional, which can be judged by the cripple economy, weak and ineffective political system and notorious name and fame of the Pakistani nation at the international level.
7. Similarly, the present situation of persistence fear and anxiety in the masses has created many psychological problems, which is destroying the very fabric of society because of constant atmosphere of fear, gory and carnage.
8. Terrorism can be rooted out from the by adopting diplomatic strategy and by conducting dialogue with the fanatic and extremist faction, rebels and terrorist and by halting the military operations for the time being to win their heart.
9. Drone attacks should be stopped that are quoted as “counter productive”. Because hate and mistrust regenerate strong sentiments of aggression and enmity.
10. Three should be strong writ of govt as well as making better the governance and the role of military and security agencies should be positive and constructive. As well as, inexpensive justice should be provided at the door steps of the poor masses.
11. Economy should be improved by utilizing all available and existing resources; corruption, poverty and the feelings of disparity and dejection should be eliminated and abridged at all cost.
12. Media should follow the code of conduct and unnecessary coverage to the terrorist and terrorism should be avoided to get rid of the hype and uncertainty. Moreover, the role of religious clerics should be positive and constructive.
13. Pakistan has to bear huge loss of economy and individuals, which must be acknowledge and appreciated at the international level without looking it with the yellow eyes.
