Not all proves and derivation.. if u consult past papers, you will come to know that derivation of discrete probability distributions and equating them to ! have been repeated in past papers. moment generation function is relatively complex and was asked in any previous paper (i guess in 2010) but i do not think so it should be included in the paper coz moments are not included in syllabus.
