PSYCHOLOGICAL SESSION
1-First we were asked to fill a bio data form. Also asked about
i) your 4 merits and 4 demerits.
ii) Any strategic organization for which you applied ever?
iii) Favorite personality (alive).Reasons for liking?
iv) Give brief account about lesson(s) you have learnt in your life.
2- Questionnaire.50 Qs. Confidential. Urdu script but you can answer either in English or urdu. Qs like
(i) What will you do in case of any difficulty?
(ii) What will you do if your job is boring and tough?
(iii) What do your friends say about you?
(iv) How is our environment?
(v) How do you feel when look at our society?
(vi) What will you do if you get a huge amount?
(vii) You oftenly think that….?
(viii) Sometimes you have intense wish to do……?
(ix) Person you hate the most?
(x) Your achievement(s) till now? It was last Q. You can have some idea about type of Qs but if someone is interested in knowing about more Qs, I will post.
3- Make meaningful sentences using words displayed on screen. 40 words. After 12 sec new word appeared. Within 12 sec, make a sentence. Words like Desire, Wish, Ambitious, Money, Nervous, Fear, Relation, Nature, Kind, Weak, ………..We were given sheet to write on it.
4-Now words were written on sheet and we were to make sentences. 40 words and 8 minutes.
5- Sentence completion. 50 sentences. 8 minutes. Starting was given and we were to complete the sentence like “She needs………..” “she wishes………”
6- Starting lines of a story were given. Make a story having a proper mid and end. Total 7 minutes for 2 stories.
i) Sajida was a responsible girl. She was facing problems. One day she planned………
ii) Fehmida was sitting in her house. She was running out of time…………..
There was a presentation about PAEC and tea break during this session. At the end of this session lunch and prayer break. After that we were called for Group discussion on general and technical topics.
GROUP DISCUSSION
Sitting arrangement was merit wise. General topic: “Role of teacher, parents and society on the quality of education”. We were given 2,3 minutes to write our points on a sheet. Now everyone was given chance to speak for 2 minutes. Then open discussion for 10 minutes. After a short break we were called again for technicaldiscussion. Same procedure as earlier but order of speaking was changed. 5th candidate was asked first to give her views then 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 4th, 3rd, 2nd and 1st in merit.
End of first day’s routine. Rooms were allotted. Fully furnished! Now you can order for tea and snacks or coke etc . Fresh tea available till late night. PAEC rest house is simple, neat and beautiful. Dinner at 8 o’clock. Next day, after delicious breakfast we were paid some amount at approved rates for traveling expenses. Now interview at 9 o’ clock.
INTERVIEW
6 persons on panel. 15 minutes. Environment was friendly.First you are asked to introduce yourself. Questions from your main field.
