Assalam-o-alaikum!

In civil service, such an annual report is called an ACR (Annual Confidential Report). It is written by one's imediate boss and countersigned by the boss of that immediate boss. During the CTP, the DG of the CSA prepares that !!!

What i have seen so far is that the ACR doesn't play any role in initial posting.....it all depends on one's merit number + everyone gets a form asking for one's choices w.r.t. station of initial posting. One may give 3-4 choices.....but final decision would be made only after consulting the merit list of that particular batch. (Merit is based on the marks obtained in the CTp+STP+Passing Out exam of STP conducted by the FPSC + any additional training results).

Females are usually posted in their home town.....others follow in the order of merit !
