Interesting Facts about GD (05 & 09) and OM (05 & 09) of Intelligence Bureau,

Dear forum members, it should be noted that in common sense GD stand for General Duty or Field duty while OM stand for Office Management. but here in IB if you selected as GD employee so, it’s not mean that you should always perform field duty or to trace someone in practical life, its depends on HR of IB, if your academic record is sound good, it’s also possible to assigned office management job, i.e if a candidate is graduate in commerce and he is selected as GD (09) So, there is a lot of chances to select it for Accounts Branch, same case in other specialized courses, I am share this information on the basis of Authentic and Solid references of TWO IB employee. One is selected OM (05), his duty to provide support to accounts department close contact with AG office, while other was selected as inspector his duty is also in accounts department.
