The Salient Features of National Energy policy 2013-2018 are as follows:

a) Power Sector Subsidy would be phased out till it is put an end(Unstoppable flood of inflationary pressure would create havoc in the lives of comon people in the country)

b) End to load shading would be possible till 2017 and surplus electricity in 2018

c) Privatization of Govt owned power Plants and little Power Distribution Companies (Discos), baring the doulble digit cost (Rs.14.67 Per unit) of power generation to single digit (below Rs.10 per unit)

d) Restructuring of Water and Power Ministry (NEPRA)

e) OGRA adjustment of outstanding dues owned by the Govt and Privately owned bodies through federal adjustres.

f) Formulation of Regional Transmission and Power Trading System would be made
