That DMG friend from 41st CTP should nt worry abt OMG. He has miscalculated .. Appointments in OMG is made coz OMG is largest grup in terms of its strength of employees. This lateral entry has been cancelled. And this Lateral Entry is not made so..People from other dept are inducted for a specified short term. not permanently.
Lateral Entry is made because of shortage of officers in federal Secretariat. OMG recruitments had remained halted for a decade. But not so now. I have respect for Saladin who is quite junior to me. But let me state one thing. U dont seem satisfied with OMG. better u quit.U should not discourage others with ur Meager knowledge.
