going through all thread it has been observed that majority of the candidates is quite unsure as what is the actual qualification requirement for the post of Assistant Director. I would appreciate the efforts of seniors to come forward with the credible news (confirmed by NTS) as what is the actual pre requisite qualification for AD. Whether all persons whose education qualification is 14/16 year (other than mentioned in Advertisement) are eligible or not??.

Advertisement has created ambiguity for qualification requirement of AD. Despite this ambiguity, advertisement has two parts:

1) Candidate should have at least bachelors degree, and
2) His degree should contain any of the following subjects: Economics, Pol.Sci, IR, DSS, Computer Science, IT.


In 2010, they required: Bachelors Degree (Preference will be given to those who possess Masters or higher degree in the subjects of Economics, Political Science, International Relations, Defence & Strategic Studies and Computer / Information Technology).
