Dear member, any department & Ministry has huge time for asking Sect & Caste of a candidate. I know Sect has to be mentioned in Verification Roll after employment. Caste has no space anywhere. All these things are a matter of a minute, during verification they can ask or get informed about the caste & sect of a candidate.
Yes all the Sardars, Chaudhry, Malik, Awan & other privilidged castes like YousafZais etc etc can fill that column quite proudly. But for the sake of argument, what someone will write in Application Form if his Ancetors used to repair shoes of people in a far flung village. Although he / she is a educated person and has never repaired shoes of anyone then, what should he / she write their........or if someone's ancestors (not him / her) were Barbers or more inferior castes...................what would he / she feel while filling that column & this form will go everywhere during all the selection process so even the chairman of panel of the board would also know...........achaaaaaaaaaaaaa you are ...................???????
You know rest of the things well.
It is highly prejudiced, biased & is a serious concern for those belonging to lower castes &
specific sects.
