First of all one thing should be kept in mind, there are good and bad Taliban. Good Taliban (Haqani) do not attack Pakistan. In fact, they are given asylum in North Waziristan by the ISI who use them as a shield against India and USA; ISI don’t want to offend them by operation in N.Waziristan. But problem is that sanctuaries of TTP are also in N.W. This shows that if there is, in future, any operation it would be intelligence-based and selective. Secondly, it is ridiculous that Nawaz sahab has not even clear narrative. He is indecisive whether to go for dialogues or operation. He is, possibly, concern about public opinion. Now people are clamoring for operation in N.W and once the operation has taken place there will be massive causalities, including innocent civilians, then people, Media, and Human right Org would turn against the govt as they did after Lal Masjid operation. In fact, Army is also reluctant to do operation as General Ashfaq said we could not go for operation until public was on board.

Someone rightly said that it is not "Muzakrat" rather "Mazak Raat". Dialogue ??? Are you serious? If history is anything to go by, dialogues, started by former govt, brought no results. Recently, Taliban said they are ready for talks and at the same time attacks on innocent people are continue. Today they even said that their top leaders should be freed by Pakistani govt: so that they can start dialogues. On the other hand, Nawaz wants to negotiate. If he really wants to negotiate then why did he enact Pakistan Protection Ord (2013) amended in 2014 in which article 10 has been changed in order to detain the POW or operation for a longer period??? I am sure govt itself is confused what to do.
