Black hole:
Black Hole is a hypothetical region in space, which has a big gravitational pull for which no matter, or radiation can escape from it. Even it is believed that light cannot escape from it. Black Hole usually likes at the centre of galaxy.

• Cosmic Rays:
Cosmic Rays are charged particles moving as fast as the speed of light. Most of the particles are protons, while some are alpha particles and electrons. They travel throughout our galaxy, including the solar system and some strike the earth’s atmosphere. Instruments on the Earth can detect them. Nobody knows how cosmic rays are formed. Exploding stars or supernova forms some of them and some come from outside our Galaxy.

• Nebula:
Nebula is derived from a Greek word, which means, “Cloud”. In the sky there are clouds like objects, which are classified as Nebulae. There are both luminous diffuse nebulae and dark obscuring nebulae over the Milky Way. They are made up of dust and gases.


• Aurora:
Aurora or Kutub-i-Raushani is a luminous meteoric phenomenon of electrical character seen in Polar Regions with a tremulous motion and giving forth streams of eight Aurora. It is generally believed that the aurora is actually caused by radiation from the Sunspots.


• Quasars:
Quasars (short for quasi-Steller soruce) are very luminous distance objects characterized by having extremely red-shifted spectra. Over 7200 quasars are now known. The most remote object currently known is quasar PC 127+3406, which is at a distance of 13200 million light years.

• UFO (Unidentified Flying Objects):
UFO, these are objects, which are seen in the sky that cannot be explained. They are also known as flying saucers because they sometimes appear to look like spinning disc. Many UFOs have later been found to be the planet Venus, which is often very bright. Others are shown to be aircraft, city light, satellites, weather balloons etc.
UFOs have not been explained properly and they are not identified.


• Zodiac:
The zodiac, in as astronomy is an imaginary belt that extend eight degree on either side of the annual path or eliptic of the sun. The orbits of the moon and of the major planets of the Solar System (except Pluto) lies entirely within the zodiac. It is divided into 12 equal areas-signs of the zodiac, each of 30-degrees. The Zodiac is derived from Greek Zodiakos, which means circle of animals. Zodiac is used by astrologers to predict the future.
