Dear Seep,

According to FPSC rules, if 2 or more candidates get equal aggregate marks (e.g. 845), then they set their merit as per their compulsory subjects marks. If compulsory marks are also equal then they set merit as per essay marks. If essay marks also equal they set merit as per their age. If age of "A" is greater than "B" and both "A" and "B" have 845 marks then "A" is high in merit. So May be this the case.
