Thats the trick used by them.
Remember they illustrated a story in two different ways.
Abid was obedient, hardworker and puntual etc
And the othr way round
Abid is disobedient and not intellgnnt.

As far as story is cncerned both r stories but as far as personality is concernd then the prrsonality of the writer is diffrnt in both stories.
Remember under presuure u only do that things which r real traits of ur personality.
They r not concerned abt the story writing technique or grammer of sentences. Wat they will consider is ur personality depicted by those sentences and stories.
