There are three fundamental elements of an essay.
1) Introduction. (Head)
2) Body. (Body)
3) conclusion.(Tail)
without these three elements an essay can not be considered as an essay.
Therefore; you must start your essay with a strong introduction and after that thesis statement should be there because the examiner become aware about which you are going to write.From these two point your essay will be judged.
