go after it... height may be relaxed later if you went well in all other impediments, particularly written test by FPSC... Physical standards are to be examined by the department itself (NH & MP)... But if you will mention 5-7 as your height on the application form, in that case objection is most likely and in other case it will be a fraudulent activity (for providing wrong information and signing the disclaimer that says, "I, hereby, solemnly declare that....")
So, be very very careful and critical of any of the opinions here!
