Default :: Nafal prayers for the eleventh month of the Islamic calender: Zul Qi’dah ::

The Holy prophet (PBUH) said:

“Venerate this month of Zul Qi’dah because this is first amongst the months of reverence.”

Prayer for Friday and each night of Zul Qu’idah

The Holy Prophet (PBUH) said:

“Whosoever offers four rakat after Jumma prayer in this way that in each rakat after reciting Surah e Fatiha recites Surah e Ikhlas eleven times, he will be blessed equivalent to Hajj. The person who offers this prayer daily will be purified from all his sins as if he is a new born babe.”

Prayer for the twenty fifth night and day of Zul Qu’idah

The Holy Prophet (PBUH) said:

“Whosoever offers hundred rakat prayers on twenty fifth night of Zul Qu’idah in this way, that in each rakat after reciting Surah e Faitha recites Surah e Ikhlas eleven times, if he dies in the same night, he will die as a martyr and Allah Almighty will relieve him from all his petty and grievous sins and there will be a grand palace for him in Paradise containing an area equivalent to five hundred years of travel in length and width, where here will be thousand of doors and the distance between these doors will be equivalent to seventy years of travelling.”

“Whosoever offers two rakat prayers on twenty fifth of Zul Qi’dah in this way that in each rakat recites Surah e Ikhlas seven times, he will be graded equivalent to a martyr and infinite virtues will be written with his name in his record.”

“Whosoever offers four rakat prayer in this way, that in each rakat after reciting Surah e Fatiha recites Surah e Ikhlas thrice, Allah Almighty will bless him with a palace in paradise, made up of rubies where there will be one hundred and eighty four rooms.”

Importance of fasting in Zul Qi’dah

The Holy Prophet (PBUH) said:

“Whosoever fasts for a day, for every moment he will be blessed equivalent to accepted Hajj and with every breath he will be rewarded equivalent to freeing a slave.”

“Whosoever fasts in this month on Saturday, it is equivalent to four hundred thousand years of prayer; fasting on Sunday is equivalent to freeing four hundred thousand slaves; Monday fasting is equivalent to spending four hundred thousand for Allah; Tuesday fasting is equivalent to four hundred thousand accepted Hajj; fasting on Wednesday is equivalent to serving food to the prophets of Bani Israeel; Thursday fasting is equivalent to digging four hundred thousand channels and wells for Allah Almighty, and Friday fasting is getting a reward equivalent to four hundred thousand angels.”

“Monday fasting in Zul Qi’dah is better than thousand years of constant praying.”

“Whosoever fasts on the twenty fifth of Zul Qi’dah is equivalent to thousand years of praying because this was the day when the foundations of Kaaba were laid.”
