Pakistan has always been perceived as a hardliner which has no respect for women and their rights. This perception has, however, changed considerably with the participation of women in sports and physical activities. Women's participation in sports is more or less the highest form of liberty which arises out of socio,econo political rights that are given to them, and it, thus, reflects that all the aforementioned rights have been given to them in pak. It is also worth mentioning that in today's modern civilised world, only those countries are termed as civilised which have ensured gender equality in their societies. Women sportspersons, thus, have played a significant role to project a soft image of pakistan.
