Dear. You can opt islamiat in English if you feel it better. It will not create any hindrance while writing as you will have a flow in writing in English. Many seniors, even, suggest to opt in English if one is a little better to write English.

Islamic Studies of jahangir Publishers written by
Zahid Ashraf would be sufficient. The latter one will help you as the short notes and overall a good book.
