Default Young Development Fellows Program 2014-2015

Welcome the Young Development Fellowship Home Page. You’re about to begin an exciting and challenging journey full of life-changing experiences and learning. t. The fellowship is the signature program of the Ministry of Planning, Development and Reforms for young people across Pakistan – so that they can experience first hand the process of policy making and bring new energy to government. The Ministry of Planning, Development and Reforms is the country’s premier Policy Making Institute.

Experience at the Ministry of Planning, Development and Reform is one of a kind – with the Ministry mirroring every department of government and setting the direction through, annual plans, 5-year plans and Vision 2025 – every Young Development Fellow gets a chance to fully understand all of Pakistan’s challenges and opportunities.

The Ministry has also recently undergone a transformation with the induction of 12 Members who are highly qualified subject-area specialists from the private sector to lead reform and policy in all key areas of government. The next batch of the Young Development Fellows will get to work with the members and other top ranking officers and post holders at the ministry.

Young Development Fellows (YDFs) will also get to start their own initiatives, learn essential skills like creating policy and project proposals – and contributing to projects such as the Pak-China Economic Corridor which is set to change the direction of the country forever.

The ad for the second batch of YDFs has now been sent and will continue to appear in Newspapers across the country. The deadline for applying for the Program is November 10th, 2014. The ad is displayed below:

Good Luck!
