I recommend games as part of recreation in leisure. I enjoyed immensely the active and skillful game of tennis in which Americans feel some pride since for the first time in the history an amateur American won the championship. The English are sometimes criticized for paying too much attention to games. Have one or more games you are fond of and let them test the stamina, the staying power and the activity of the body with skill.

In Sport I have an actual passion for fishing. Fishing from one's feet either on the bank or wading deep in the stream is a sustained exercise for the whole body and an exciting sport. If you want to be a much happy as I have been, then find something of your interest.

Other subject for recreation is gardening, the purest of human pleasures. The more you develop it and know about it, the more absorbing is the interest of it.
