1. Urbanization is removal of rural characteristics of an area.

2. Urbanization has casted various positive impacts:
i) Boom of national progress.
ii)Availability of civic facilities.
iii) Better standard of living.
iv) Improved justice and surveillance system.
v)Advancement in technology.
vi)Flexible social mobility.
vii)Enhanced awareness level.

3. Urbanization has got numerous negative aspects as well.
i) Plight of man.
ii) Pervasive pollution.
iii)Dearness & inflation.
iv)Endangered family system.
v) worse law and order situation.
vi) Social disintegration.
vii) lust of money.
viii) Accommodation issue.
ix)Artificial beings.
x)Development of slums & juvenile delinquency.

4 . Currently Urbanization is a bane of modern civilization but with proper
strategy it can be turned into boon.
