Awareness, political evolution process, economic activity , education and constructivity all are offsprings of media if it is exercised responsibly .
At the same time media can become a frankensteinian monster because the power given to it can be deviated, misused or hijacked.

Whenever it comes to absolute power so, it corrupts absolutely. Like sensationalism, biased commentaries, glamorization of crimes, piling up sensitive issues and threat to territorial sovereignty, national integrity, policy makers , collective sentiments of masses and last but not least it confuses public opinion by its own set agendas . Sometimes, media acts upon dictation of domestic parties or foreign agents. Not only did it tarnish image of country at global level, but has to face trust deficit by its own worthy public. So, in this way media has potential to be a frankensteinian monster of a society. It only depends on the lines media is pacing and executing its function responsibly or not.
