Thank you. Trouble starts when the second priority leaps earlier to the first one. Leaving an opportunity is easy but finding a job is a hell difficult task. Pretty good candidates missed out on OG-2 posts in their interviews Do you also have another opportunity in line except askari's MTO?

I have done an internship at SBP Lahore. And the scope of the job of OG-1 is not just cash management. I was in the Issue division myself which deals with currency management. There was only one OG-1 officer there, rest were from OG-2 to og-4. In the previous records/indents, remittance officers for both coins and cash have been OG-2s . Same is the case as of now. Rather I saw a greater no. of OG-1s in DFD, Trade, PAU and DAU. They were the ones who gave us orientations.

After every 3 years they change your dept, or even earlier per your desire if you are able to satisfy them. There are 12 departments, various divisions and units. The environment is much diverse than any commercial bank but the major hurdle is their speed at the administration side.

The irony is that SBP selection criteria is beyond the comprehension of most of the people here. Many people having good degrees and even experience lost the chance. Most of the people would be in a fix who have qualified the test because of the saturation of the job market.
Even for the internship call, the Lahore office took about one and a half months despite the fact that they had told the universities (from Lahore only) to recommend toppers from very few disciplines that they had stated. That would have made a very small list as compared to the list of candidates they have been short listing from Jan 12.
