Never ever underestimate yourself and your homeland, for you are given best opportunities with best competitive examinations to bring Pakistan on that platform where Quaid wanted her to be. You may seek examples of our Muslim brother countries, like Iraq, Syria, etc. Historically Iraq was the only country in the Muslim world where we had highest number of PHDs students and now look at them! They have rifles in their hand and fighting for their freedom. It is the cost which they are paying through their blood. Did you ask yourself WHY?? Simply, because the nature may ignore the individual sins of the people but the collective blunders and sins of nation are never avoidable.

Stand firm and stand united. Never ask what Pakistan has done for you rather ask yourself what you have done for your motherland!! All the best in your life and ahead.

I applaud your patriotism brother. We live in a very globalised world where there are endless opportunities for the ones willing to work hard, ones who are talented and the ones who are good at what they do. Talent in Pakistan is in abundance.. REAL talent.. not the talent we have been hearing about Umar Akmal since the last 5 years..

That being said, every country provides an infrastructure for its workforce. An infrastructure that ENABLES them to surpass their potential, and ensures growth for individuals and hence, the whole society.

From time to time, our government/military has framed and executed robust policies since independence but has never been able to achieve sustainable progress because of consistent changes in regimes.

I personally, do not see real democracy working in the country. Bilawal Bhutto or maybe Hamza Shahbaz is probably going to be the next Prime Minister. These families will continue occupying the upper echelons of power and loot the country for their own factories, mills, plazas and businesses abroad. The bureaucracy is divided among the ones who are honest, and yet, because of their honesty, do not get promoted to their desired and deserved places. On the other hand, the bureaucrats who are sycophants, and have it in them to suck up to the illiterate/feudal minded ministers, will get to the positions that they desire.

The upper class will get richer, wealthier and more egoistic. The middle class as usual will be sandwiched in between trying their best to make a comfortable living, while the lower class will keep getting poorer.
Energy and water are going to pose as a major problem in the next couple of decades.

The government keeps ignoring Balochistan as well as Sindh, as it has since the inception of Pakistan. The Balochis and Sindhis are already divided as it is. The Balochs do not even want to be a part of Pakistan.

The preamble of our constitution is based on the Objectives Resolution. We are supposedly the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and yet, Sunnis are killing Shias, Shias are killing Sunnis, both are killing Wahabis, and everyone is killing Ahmedis. The Baloch hate the Punjabi. The Hazaras are being hunted down and ruthlessly murdered. Afghanis/Kandharis are killing everyone they like and have a separate territory in the country. The pathan are killing the Muhajir, and the Taliban think that anyone outside of their home is a sinner whose death by their hands would please Allah and earn them beautiful hoors in heaven.

Our mother is ill. Yes, i agree.. but she is being controlled by the most corrupt people. Our mother, calls for a revolution.. But who will bring about a revolution, when the corrupt can seemingly pay off anyone?

The clash of different cultures, societies, casts, sects and ethnicities is ever present in the country; and will not resolve itself. Instead, it will be the downfall of this nation.

Yet, the beautiful people of Pakistan are the most resilient on earth. They will keep doing what they are doing, and survive in similar or worse conditions, under the same type of rulers. They will survive. But they will not prosper if things remain the same.
