For the first MCQs paper:-

English vocabulary and grammar usage: 20 marks
Basic arithmetic: 20 marks
Islamiat/Pak sty: 20 marks
Current affairs and general knowledge: 20 marks
General science: 20 marks

For the second paper of subjective English:-
Essay: 25 marks
Precis writing: 25 marks
Comprehension: 20 marks
Correction of sentences, idioms, direct/indirect narration, active/ passive voice and pairs of words etc : 30 marks.

When the exams comprised only MCQs paper and interview, the whole process would span an year in average. Now there are four steps namely MCQs paper, subjective English paper and psychological assessment followed by interview. The approximate time for the process will be two years now.
