@ Misbah62 focus of English grammar paper should be on proper grammar and spellings, It is not mandatory to give examples but proper and good English is necessary.
Next you are going on the wrong way, meaning of maxim "advice is cheap" means that it does not cost anything to give advice (In Urdu= Mashwara dene mein koi kharcha nhi lagta tu mashwara dena chahiye). When someone is in need of advice then advice should be given free of cost because it does not cost anything to give advice
