This document verification clause is nothing more than a joke. An organization, that is supposed to eliminate the element of corruption and fraud is asking her potential employees to verify their document on their own instead of checking with concerned departments herself.
Now consider this fact that NAB is going to rely on the information provided by candidates for verification. If NAB is going to verify the verifications and authenticity of the documents again by contacting concerned authorities then what is the point of asking the candidates to go through this exercise? And if NAB is just going to rely on this verification obtained by candidates then what is going to prevent someone from forging a document? Afterall anyone who has a fake document can also manage to forge a verification letter or stamp.
