Dear, marking trend of a subject has nothing to do with number of candidates who opt for a certain subject. Rather it depends upon the nature of a subject. If a subject has been giving good score in the past, it will give good score in the future, and vice versa. Though exceptions are always there. For instance, subjects like psychology, journalism, geography, sociology, international law, punjabi were most common subjects. Some of these subjects were opted by almost more than 50% candidates, yet it has been yielding good score. Hence opting or ruling out any subject on the basis of number of candidates cannot be linked to output, as the connection is irrelevant. There are many other things to ponder over. Some of them are your aptitude, scoring trend, interest, overlapping with other subjects and the length of a subject with respect to time.
