A 50% percentile does NOT necessarily mean that you did half the questions right. You have have 30 questions correct out of 100 and still get a percentile of 50%.
Look at your result card closely again as you may be confusing your percentile with your absolute score.

NTS gives percentile only in GAT test along with the obtained marks but in the rest of the tests conducted by NTS only obtained marks are mentioned. So, 50 marks simply means one has done 50 questions correct.
