police verification and special branch verification,both are 2 difft bt simple verfications..police verfctn conducted by your concerned police station and special branch verification is done by a nominee of special branch,which takes only 10-15 minutes....there is nothing serious in it except past criminal record.its just a formal process and daily hundreds of both verifications are done....so be calm and cool because its not the main issue
