I didn't opt Economics. For IR, there are books which are all on theories. I did not find a single praisworthy book for this subject. The best for IR is Dawn News, IR documentaries, Al-Jazeera News, etc. I read books of Noam Chomsky which helped me a lot. I also preferred documentaries (not conspiracy theories) because when you watch something, it helps in remembering the information better.
