One can't challenge his appointment on legal grounds so submitting a writ petition in High or Supreme Court is pointless.
On Moral grounds, government can be pressurised to take back it's decision. Pressure can be exerted through Social and Electronic Media. Approaching opposition parties and senate in this regard would be most appropriate
