There is nothing new in these topics. According to CE 2015 essay paper, one should also practice topics on quotations. Plus; terrorism, extremism, national/international security kind of topics have much importance. Pak-China corridor is also important for essay and current affairs. Now, the examiner also checks the analytical aptitude of candidates. So, it's better to practice on out of the box topics as much as one can.
