There can't be an absolute Yes/No answer to your question. There are too many variables in it; Question Paper, Paper Checker, Your Prep, Your Attempt, etc. to name a few. Simple answer is to prepare well and attempt well. No matter what they include/exclude from the syllabus, preparation and attempt are two things which are directly determined by you only. My suggestion would be to continue with this subject if you have already opted/studied it and expect a good score. Since, 2016 will be the first year in which the revised syllabus will be implemented, the scoring trend etc. cannot be predicted for it.
