The time management thing is very real as pointed out by Tupac and Cogito, roughly you have about 35-40 mins for every 20 marks question. I generally wrote 1.5-3.0 pages (sides) for 20 marks questions and made good diagrams/maps wherever the need was felt. However, I will reiterate again that doing justice with the question is paramount under a limited time, so you have to include the core points and leave out the other things that could be related.

Did you give the exam in previous years? May I ask why you are not interested in another attempt?
