Yes totally agreed with you that politicians deceive common people and get elected and have no concern for common man and dont take pain of any pain of common Man.
Also agreed that our people are equally responsible for this situation.
i share you some realities.
our most of population live in rural areas.
what is trend there?
most people are poor families ,they just live from hand to mouth ,they are not aware of Iftikhar Chaudrry,Dr AQ Khan,judicial crises,Nuclear proliferation,Terrorism,and many such issues.

what they know?
how to earn so much money for operation of his son,
how to het money for marriage of daughter,
how to get money for home making
so they are involved so much in their many many problems like that that they have no concern for any issues ,they even dont know what are rights of citizens in pakistan constitution.

why they Vote for corrupt politicians.
these poor people are their peasants ,these poor people get help from these lords ,these people are forced to follow these lords.
for example if the son of farmer is in police custody what will he do???
Is our police stations are so civilized that a common ,illiterate man can go to police station.
what will he do?
he will go to Chaudry sb,Mkahdom sb,Gelani sb,Chema Sb ,Rana Sb,Malik Sb.Shah sb for help.
so in return these poor people will be give them vote and consider these people their "Mohsin"
they dont care what is food price,what is power crises,judicial crises,Kashmir issue,

Now what is attitude of Middle Class or people in citizies.
Many people from Middle class and elite class ,they have independent living so they consider election as bullshit and dont go for casting votes.
Some people are bound to give votes for theIR Bradery
Some people also give vote to honest people and these people are also elected ,but they are small in number so they also become part of this diry ,corrpt system.
,Honest people dont become candidate for election because it is said that for election in Pakitan a MNA mUST HAVE 20 cAROR atleast for advertisement,to give to People.
So thats y these people come to power.
dont think that a poor man is honest and farishta ?
these poor people ,they are most dis honest but if they have availibility.
example ,A ricksha driver can kill a man for some thousands.

Solution
Need to aware the people ,for this judiciary must be independent in true sense,and people must be provided basic needs so that they were not in shackles of slavery of feudal lords.
Democracy is basically for literate ,modern society
so we must concentrate on education of people.
