Nawab Sir Sadiq of Bahawalpur on creation of Pakistan donated 6 months salary to the Pak Armed Forces, 2 years of budget to Pakistan, 50 Maund of Gold for printing of currency, 2 Rolls Royce cars (one is nowadays in PC and other was at Ziarat), 2 Dakota Aircrafts and many units of his own army to Pak Army which now are called Abasia Regiments.
