INTRODUCTION:
 Despite the tireless efforts to achieve gender equality, it remains a utopian ideal till today. The fair sex is still treated unfairly. The odious gender inequality has plagued the human race since the evolution of concepts like private property and ownership. Following which there has been relentless struggle to rid human race of this vicious evil. But the utter failure is pretty evident from the plight of women everywhere on this planet: the East and the West. And for that matter Pakistan’s statistics show it as one of the worst countries for woman to live. The reasons for this injustice range from illiteracy to the failure in comprehending the real essence of religion and from vested interests to instincts to rule. The gender perspective of Karl Marx’s theory depicts how the world is structured to maintain the gender difference. Consequently, the conundrums such as violation of human rights, social deviance and under-performance of women in mankind’s development emerge. Hence it’s in the best interest of human beings to do away with this vice via revolutionizing education, religion, media, economy and eventually the society. Because unless egalitarianism is actually achieved, the hope for durable peace is futile.
