Default First step after selection

Last year merit positions were announced via telephone call in start of January and selection letters were signed and issued on 18th February, though dispatched at the end of the month and received by the candidates in first week of March . The deadline to submit the documents was 21st March.

Most of the candidates at this stage generally don't have passports which is required for the application and getting medical certificate from DHQ hospital. As IPC is late in announcement this time, you will get very less time to complete formalities. Therefore as soon as your selection is confirmed you should apply for passport using normal procedure that requires 10 working days. Details on www.dgip.gov.pk.

All of your educational documents need to have consistent information with your CNIC and passport. Name(and their spellings) and date of birth on all of your documents should be same. This will save you a lot of trouble. It is easier to remove inconsistencies before applying for passport than later.
