My essay was kind of like that:

-We fall in trap of being our worst enemies because we often lack foresight and insight, hence can't anticipate consequences of our actions nor realize worth of our potential.
-We are to blame for our actions, neither anybody nor any fate.
-We have to learn 'ways' to develop our own abilities, only then we can befriend ourselves.
-Those ways include education, introspection and soul searching.
-Those who did it, became successful ie self dependent china and self conscious Buddha etc
-Those who didn't, harmed themselves as an enemy.

-"Friend and foe lies in you,
Whom you embrace, it depends on you"
- The only helping hand you'll find, will be at the end of your own arm etc
